Call for the reinstatement of Liberian health union leaders

You probably recall communications during the Ebola crisis about the termination of Liberian union leaders, following a nationwide strike in protest of working conditions and lack of protective equipment and medication. Our international affiliate, PSI is asking us to join our brothers and sisters globally in calling for reinstatement of two Liberian health union leaders who we dismissed following that strike, along with 22 other workers.


Although twenty were later reinstated, NAHWAL President, Joseph S. Tamba and Secretary General George Poe Williams have not yet been reinstated.  PSI stands in solidarity with NAHWAL and strongly condemns these attacks, and I hope you will by expressing protest to the authorities of Liberia at this link:
