Online Renewals
Pursuant to state law, it is mandatory that physicians, dentists, advanced practice registered nurses, nurse midwives, registered nurses and practical nurses with expiration dates on and after October 31, 2013, renew their licenses online. The Department is currently working on adding this functionality for all other licensed healthcare providers.
Licensees will receive renewal notification containing their username and password approximately 60 days prior to the license expiration date.
NOTE: The renewal notice will indicate an amount due and that there was a fee increase of $5.00 effective 7/12/2013. The total renewal fee due is calculated by adding the amount due plus the $5.00 fee increase. This information will be summarized on the invoice screen when the licensee renews online.
Licensees may email the Department to request a username and password.

For the licensees protection, please confirm the license number, date of birth and the last 4 digits of the Social Security number in the request.
Once you have a user name and password, you will be able to renew the license online at https://www.elicense.ct.gov.
